That would still make an interesting lamp to put into use just to see what it's like

lol the label says "Day Light" instead of "Daylight" lol Laughing Rolling Eyes yeah it'd be interesting to see how well they actually hold up.

i really want to find a F32T8/CW (641) or F32T8/W (white)

Interesting...

what's a 641 F32T8/CW? 60-something CRI 4100K? 3500K lamps are similar to white lamps. Has anyone ever heard of F64T8 lamps before? There's one in a display case in my grandpa's basement. it's a Philips Econ-o-watt cool white and it's about 6ft long.

IIRC standard /CW lamps are 65 CRI 4100K so 641 would be the T8 colour code for it. It's a bit odd how T12s kept the old /DX /CW etc designations while T8s use the /741 /850 colour designations.

ahh thanks. yeah i perfer to just see "COOL WHITE 4100K", "WHITE 3750K", "WARM WHITE 3000K", "DAYLIGHT 6500K", "NATURAL LIGHT 5000K", etc. nice and easy that way lol. IMO it would be easier if they just included "60 CRI" in the etch... nowadays with all the govn't regulations and such simple etches are a thing of the past lol.

I thought halophosphate cool white was 62CRI? But yeah I agree.
Could lamps like T12s use the old ordering codes if they still had the higher CRI phosphors? Like a "F40CW" ordering code but an 89CRI lamp?

Your office will definitely look cyber with those 6500K lamps!
