Philips MH400/U 400W metal halide lamp
|
Got this from school today. I took it since it was in pretty good shape and the arctube wasn't too blackened. I didn't expect the lamp to start instantly on my H33 ballast! At the first attempt the lamp went out after 20 sec. running. Although at the 2nd attempt, the lamp made its way to full brightness. It was flickery but managed to warm up all the way and stabilized. It's still running as I type this!

The lamp is dated September 2002. The sleeve is one from a brand new lamp though. There was a pile of old lamps and empty sleeves. I just grabbed a sleeve for the lamp to protect it a little bit LOL.
