Sylvania Canada H33GL-400/C 400W mercury vapour lamp.
I got that lamp in the OV-20 with a cracked refractor I talked about in another pic. It was made in January 1980, the most recent lamp in the lot (the three other OV-20s still having their original 1950s Lifeguard lamps). It only has some whitening near the electrodes. Thus I assume it still has most of its light output!

Cool lamp, and '80 is late! I recently got a Sylvania H38JA-100/C from June '77, same month and year as me. Cleartop too, but USA made.

Nice clear-ender.

UPDATE 08/21/2011: I tested this lamp on a 250W HPS ballast (with ignitor removed) and this lamp is barely used! The light from the lamp was close to /DX but wasn't pinkish and had a very slight greenish tint, probably the most beautiful light I've seen in a GOOD while!
