GE M250A2 almost burned in hell!
Wonder what the hell (literally) could burn so intensely?

Well, a couple of weeks ago, the Rivière-du-Loup's former Calko factory burned down in barely 2 hours! It has been suspected to have accidentaly been set on fire.

[url=http://www.infodimanche.com/upload/editor/calko%20epoque.jpg] Here's the same building back in the 1950s when Calko just took over the St-Lawrence Furnitures factory that used to be there[/url].

I uploaded this pic especially because of the M250A2 that's been VERY close to burning from the intense heat!

TiCoune66   [Aug 18, 2011 at 12:41 AM]
I will have to check, but it doesn't seem to have been damaged!

You didn't take this picture I suppose?
streetlight98   [Aug 18, 2011 at 12:44 AM]
If the wind was right, the flame and heat may have been blown in theother direction. I'd atleast think the lens would have melted a bit or thepc melted a bit.

No I didn't take this pic. It's been taken by a journalist from the InfoDimanche local newspaper.

I wonder if the M-250A2 survived this, the wiring might have gotten damaged.

Yikes! I think the fire is likely further away than it appears, it is likely fine!

UPDATE 09/02/2011: The streetlight survived the fire, not the photocontrol though. XD It's now dayburning.

Form109   [Nov 27, 2011 at 12:52 PM]
nooo this is what gull waste can do... Razz

they (...) on the ballast and cake it on there so it traps heat until the turds ignite explosively...who knows what kind of volatile substances gulls consume on a daily basis,it's a wonder why streetlights don't corrode because of being pooped on by gulls. Laughing
