175W MV McGraw-Edison NEMA Head
Sans bucket. I have spare reflectors but not any extra bucket diffusers. Doesn't matter though since this doesn't work. :-( the photocell clicks, suggesting the fixture has power, but lamp doesn't light, but when I unplug it, the electrode closer to the base flashes. With an incandescent lamp, nothing happens. Maybe there's a bad connection or loose wire. This supposedly worked when it was removed and is in decent shape aside from rusty slipfitter bolts and ballast core.

Awesome Smile Hopefully you can get it to work. This would be cool to use on your property.

Hopefully... Yeah it's a nice NEMA. Not a big NEMA fan though, since they're glarebombs but yeah, this one would look nice.

OK well, turns out a ballast winding wire broke where it was crimped onto a spade connector. It's the spade connector for the wire that goes to the socket. So I need to somehow fix that. I'm thinking that I will omit the slip-on connectors and just solder the socket wire to the broken ballast wire. The ballast windings are aluminum though. I think aluminum is tricky to solder...
