Oh yeah many residential streets in Ontario are lined with these. Other cities that have large deployments of LEDs include South Gate and of course Los Angeles.
These LEDways all over a neighborhood between Benson and Mountain Ave. Saw them all the time when I used to work in nearby Upland. Some of them are mounted on very low (probably not more than 12 feet) up.
Last time I was in this area, (about two weeks ago) I noticed some of them had been replaced by the Leotek GreenCobra fixtures. The Leoteks have a warmer white light compared to the blueish tint of the BetaLEDs LEDways
I wonder something, what happens after 20 years (not likely they will last that long anyways but...) what will happen as all of these lights start failing and need to be replaced? It will be a huge cost, unlike now when only a few lights fail randomly, making the replacement cost a lot less.
