I know of some bells like this in Aurora, High Pressure Sodium, and they have cobrahead refractors. Some have the GE refractors and others have the AE or new GE refractors. Did these formerly have those refractors in them?
@tmcdllr, no Loma Linda is in the Inland Empire. But Mission Viejo indeed has those bells all over, they are HPS, some are maintained by SCE, others are maintained by SDG&E.
Placentia, San Juan Capistrano, Dana Pt, as well as parts of La Harbra also have this style streetlight. If you visit the old town area of Placentia, there are also some with LED retrofits but they used round arrays rather than rectangular ones.
Originally, the guy who developed Mission Viejo had such fixtures custom made by GE exclusively for the community but other cities in Orange County then caught on.
Some of these are already out or dim with rows of LEDs out Also the city of Bellflower has these Mission Bells with MH and MV lamps, Some on 6.6A series systems.
Is this near Mission Viejo?
