The light to the rear is turned slightly. It is actually tilted to oncoming traffic, thus adding glare. This was put up by a contractor for SCE. The lights are HPS, dont remember the wattage.
Ha! Think that's bad? You should see some of the lights the contractors install here, some are at a 45 degree angle! It pays to install the light after the pole is up not while its still on the ground
I have seen some situations like this and still not fixed or anything...I am not sure HOW to really report it to my electrical company on this honestly...
True, but sometimes the light is reoriented intentionally. Case in point, there was an old Carvel Ice Cream store in my neighborhood whose parking lot was lit by three GE M-1000s. The one closest to the street was reoriented towards the lot, directing light away from McKinley Parkway and Bailey Ave.
Sort of an old topic, but there are a lot of NGrid lights tilted to one side. They don't care. They're not going to send out a crew just to level a light fixture lol. If you want the light level, knock the pole down and hope the replacement lights are level. The M-250R2 in front of my house tilts to one side and is also tilted upward.
