These are how aluminum ones are made. Plastic visors are shot in an injection molding machine.

You can get a good paint adhesion with proper preparation. All aluminium cans have the neck rolled to reduce diameter to fit the crown after printing, and the outer and inner coatings survive this with no problems.

It's not basic paint. It's powdercoating. Powder is attracted to ionized aluminum from a chemical bath, sent through an oven, melted and baked on.

Are they powder coated before or after being cut? Stamped out or laser cut?

plasma cutter. I don't work here. I was given these photos from a contact I had for years at Eagle. I do work in lighting. LED in all applications and metalworking. So I am familiar. A friend and fellow collector makes to-spec reproduction visors.

Still a nice shop.

I like the LED lights for some applications, but there are areas where they are not good, although there are improvements all the time.

Making aluminum visors

This is the process where aluminum visors are rolled into their shape out of sheet aluminum. Note the visors are painted PRIOR to being rolled.
