Sub Panel installation
With the addition of new outlets requiring both 15 and 20 amp breakers, I had to install a sub panel for the new house circuits. When the attic gets rewired, a second sub panel will be installed there and a 40 amp two pole breaker installed in this sub panel.

I ran 8/3 MC cable to the attic alongside the chimney to a second branch subpanel. I didn't have enough SER 6-6-6-6 cable and was going to have to splice another 15 feet. But one of my contractors gave me 40 feet worth of the 8/3 MC cable to do the job. We'll have to go over the main panel and label the circuits properly. I'm using a simple label printer for that task. After we get going on the attic rewiring, pics will be forthcoming of that phase of the project. I'm also planning on installing an outdoor outlet. Probably by the porch.
