Just when you thought they didn't make fixed four ways anymore......
Teeco Safety is the only remaining manufacturer still making a historic fixed four way signal head. This is one recently installed down in Ohio. Teeco's molds are the old Sargent Sowell design from the mid 1960s, with the Sargent Sowell logo removed from the bottom of the signal. Teeco still makes the original mechanical controller for the bottom compartment...complete with the darkout flaws and brief dual colors between changes.

Nice, although the LEDs inside makes it look a bit odd.

The LEDs are GE GT1s, one of my favorite models. I think they look slick in that signal bringing that age-old fixed four way design into the 21st century. Besides incandescent is a thing of the past for most modern intersections. Its better to see it this way instead of McCains garbage

Ah I see what you mean, I wonder how the Swarco LEDs would look in this?

Swarco and EOI are in my opinion the best looking LEDs to resemble the incandescent lenses.
Closely followed by the bigger brands Dialight and GE

is there a specific reason why the Green Module has a clear front when the red and yellow are colored?

Maybe it's so the sun doesn't play tricks on what color is lit. That's one good thing about the older LED moudles with visable diodes: most didn't have colored lenese, so when the sun shines on them, you still only see what color is truely on.
