This bulb has been used in an overhead light fixture in my bedroom for around 5 years or so and gets constant use. Seems too work well despite some wear on the phosphor. Have two more in reserve should anything happen to this bulb.
It uses the older programmed start design and takes a few seconds to come on.
I have a old Globe 23 watt CFL that has been running for about 12 hours every day for about 5 years now (about 21,000 hours!) howevery the tube is very blackend every where and the ballast housing is yellowed and smells like burning smell but yet still works
