That's a LOT cheaper than I thoguht! Shocked i was thinking $125 or so. Shocked did you get any drop lens quotes?
gramirez2012   [Nov 01, 2011 at 08:59 PM]
Yeah, I was shocked! I am getting a quote on an AEL 327. But that's the only drop lens fixture I requested a quote for.

I got MY 115 FCO 150 watt HPS from Graybar in Denver for only 70 dollars! It was on sale so I got it!

And before I got one 95 dollars was the price for the 150 watt 115.

I have ordered this fixture. Smile Cool

I bet this will look similar to mine. Is this a 100 watt? It looks like it. Mine is 150 watts and I got it for 75 dollars at Graybar.
gramirez2012   [Nov 04, 2011 at 07:35 PM]
Yup, it's 100 watt.

Did you get any quotes on Cooper lights? Anyone know how much they compare to these in cost?
gramirez2012   [Nov 09, 2011 at 10:27 PM]
Nope, the only quotes I got were the ones I posted.
streetlight98   [Nov 10, 2011 at 01:48 AM]
The coopers are quite a bit more expensive. I emailed them for a quote on a 100w HPS OVZ, 120 volt R-NPF ballast, acrylic lens, PC recep and the cost was around $110.
gailgrove   [Nov 10, 2011 at 09:02 PM]
That is actually surprising, I always assumed Cooper was cheaper. I wonder how much the OVX and 125 cost?
streetlight98   [Nov 10, 2011 at 10:45 PM]
On ebay i saw "MSRP over $300" on a listing for either a 250 or 400w HPS OVX. That's clearly off thoguh. Not even a GE M-400 costs that and that's one of the most expensive medium sixed fixture on the market. (Hubbels are most likely more). The 125 might cost around 200 dollars or so.....

I wonder what was Powerlite's price range in all this, too bad we don't know who used to distribute Powerlite..........
streetlight98   [Nov 11, 2011 at 12:40 AM]
Reguardless of the price, those powerlites seem very well-made....
gailgrove   [Nov 11, 2011 at 07:26 PM]
If the OVX actually costs more than the 125 then why the heck does anyone buy them? Shocked
streetlight98   [Nov 11, 2011 at 07:33 PM]
i doubt $300 bucks is the real price. I did see that on ebay though. Probably to make their price look better. Rolling Eyes I'd guess a 400w OVX is around $170-190.
