The inside of the Cooper Lighting OVZ.

Pretty big ballast. It was REALLY hard to screw that lamp in though.. At least I got it in.
Ignitor looks different than most I have seen in other fixtures..
And the reflector is the reason of the early HPS cycling. It must distribute the heat in the wrong places.

Also the OVH has completely different reflector design but still has cycling issues! It may also be the material of the reflector....the OVS did not have as much cycling problems...but I remember the OVZs near my house from around 1988 and they HAD cycling problems!
Not sure what the 42 means. Anyone got that?
And maybe its the size of the fixture.. Not sure. Or it may be the cooper ballasts overdriving the lamps a bit?
One thing I don't get is why they didn't use slip on connectors for the balast wires except on the multi-tap input, they should of used slip on connectors.
HPS isn't all bad in my opinion as I said. HPS looks cool. xD
