On a General Electric M1000 or an ITT Model 327? Huh! What are the odds of that?

Are these lights privately owned? I am curious to know if the electric utility there uses Intermatic photo controls.
streetlight98   [Mar 19, 2018 at 02:46 AM]
In boston the lights are municipal-owned.

I meant if it is owned by an individual that is perhaps using it as a parking lot light, or if it lights a roadway.

Thats a small bulb for a HUGE housing. Laughing

i think if i remember correctly the M1000 has the same top housing as a M400 just with a Diffrent door and Reflector to Accomodate a larger lamp and ballast.....is this right? my light trivia is somewhat rusty at this point.
streetlight98   [Mar 19, 2018 at 10:52 PM]
They're similar in length but the M-1000 housing is wider.

Intermatics have been becoming more commonplace. We recently had some LED installs with Intermatics.

lightingfan8902, I know right? That High Pressure Sodium bulb fooled me. I thought they'd all be Mercury Vapor, but I won't know all of them in the area for sure unless I see one of them dayburning.

I wonder how badly distorted the optics are with the arc tube being so far back in the reflector. To maintain at least comparable optics they should have used socket extensions to center the lamp.

Probably they converted it to HPS.
