Thier High end model. Nice, wish they used a few instead of the xsp tennis racquets in my city's changeout on now.

This is not the higher end model. This is the cheap model, made entirely of plastic! Shocked The XSP1 and XSP2 are their best street lights, and they look the most like cobraheads too. I have two of the "tennis racket" ones, the XSPR. Rather oddball looking fixtures. Those are a mid-grade version with an aluminum upper housing and plastic door.

Plus it looks like a GE Evolve when viewed on the underside part of the fixture. Laughing

Ask Cree what they say is their higher end fixture. The optics on this RSW fascinate me, would like to see one here. I like the shape quite a lot. Not sure how I feel about plastic body.
Was not aware the tennis XSPR was part plastic though.

Charlestown, RI uses these fixtures. Never seen them at night though. Yep the XSPR tennis lights have plastic doors. The smaller size Leotek GreenCobra lights have plastic doors too. I'm hoping they don't all become 100% plastic over time. Would be a real bummer. Would also not be very green for the environment.

I just think that LED fixtures are junk, if plastic. The AEL Autobahns is made out of aluminum, not plastic. I imagine that thing is pretty light in weight.
