I don't think I have seen an MV version of this before.. At least in my area.

Were there any Metal halide versions of the Model 25?

Yes. The later ones most likely had MH. MH wasn't common thoguh because the lamps had a very short life and it was still a fairly new product with small defects like LEDs today have.
