I guess the silver lining is this was that they installed a drop lens HPS instead of a LED. Razz

This utility ain't installing any LED that I can see. They were installing mercs right up to the ban. The municipal owned lights along the coast here are LED. They were installed a few years back when the state park redid the boardwalk.

The New Hampshire Electric Co-Op is testing out LEDs. They serve a huge area of NH from the Lakes Region all the way up past the Franconia Notch and the White Mountains. they're primarily HPS though with some 175W MV NEMA heads and powr/brackets. here if they replaced the pole and needed to replace the light too they would have replaced the arm too.
