OVS in the mid 90s eh?

yes the mid 90s! I remember when they put the big addition on the Holyoke mall from 1994-1995/ they had to redirect a road for the new mall and had to move all the utility poles over about 200 yards with the new road being built. when all the new stuff was put up, they installed 10 250 watt OVS's and they are still up in service to this date. Plus i thought cooper didn't buy out crouse-hinds streetlights untill the mid 90s?

Well, Crouse Hinds made the origional OVZ too. I think the OVZ was started in the late 80's only in HPS up to 150w. Sometimes refered to as the "OVZ mini". The OVS was also made during that time in MV and HPS.
