Streetlight #059 - Some Sorta Weird Mod/Upgrade?

Thought this was an odd-looking thing...ain't 100% positive on this, but I believe the concrete part of the pole is old/original and had a different type of lantern to begin with. Then at some point that was replaced with the common lantern you see here & the hight extended.

(the pole really isn't bent like that, its just a weird effect from taking a pic through the car window)
