StreetLight #148 - Low Wattage MH Down-Lighters
Pretty cool looking, but its a short pole (bottom of the lights was probably around 8-feet max) ... I coulda reached up and touched it.

There were fairly small Metal-Halide lamps in them (had to be something less than 100w)

Does light shine thru the clear area between the head and "bell"?

my M-250A in my backyard is about 8ft off the ground. my m-250r1 in my bedroom is about 6ft off the ground from the bottom.

I think that clear area at the top might light as well, but I've never seen these on at night (didn't even know they were there til the weekend before last..)
