StreetLight #223 - Nice Old Fluorescent
A nice old fluorescent streetlight, but in sad shape, considering one of the fixtures is 'just gone' / all that remains is wires hanging from the pole. With that, I'm assuming ofcourse that this is no longer in operation :(

the remaining one looks sad. (LOL I'm just nuts, lights don't have feelings. Or DO they? Shocked Laughing ) I see a M-250R2 with a browned out polycarbonate refractor photobombed this shot. Razz

It does look sad, I'd love to go 'save' it LOL
That would be a sad sight to see a M-250R2 in such condition too.

are you sure its fluorescent? looks more like a LPS fixture.....
xmaslightguy   [Aug 21, 2016 at 03:54 AM]
I never even thought of that...but SOX/LPS is very rare to see here.

Yep looks like it's a 180W LPS fixture, there's a couple more of them in the parking lot in behind when looking at streetview.

Yep there was a couple more in the lot . If it is SOX/LPS, then this just went from 'rare' to 'ultra rare' Laughing

Yeah come to think of it, fluorescent lights are usually at an angle.

Yeah reminds of one of those 70s or 80s Philips LPS fixtures.
