Philips OEM 60w A15 Clear Ceiling Fan Bulb
Here's a Philips 60-watt A15 bulb in clear, which I purchased at a thrift store recently. It seems to be an OEM bulb, one that would have been included with a ceiling fan or light fixture. It comes in very simple packaging that, ironically, warns not to resell the bulb. Looks like that didn't work out too well. The bulb itself seems well-made, despite having been made in China. It has a heat shield and a C-shaped filament with numerous supports. The glass seems thick and strong.

I don't know why in the US, there are special incandescent lamps for ceiling fans? You can put any incandescent lamp you wish in your ceiling fan.

They are smaller envelope to fit into these fan light fixtures.
