Philips 40 watt Halogená Energy Saver

The Philips Longer Life "Square" bulb is back with a twist in the form of the Philips Halogená Energy Saver series of bulbs. These bulbs have an inner halogen capsule that incorporate an infrared reflective coating which reflects IR heat back onto the filament. This results in less energy needed for heating the filament to a certain operating temperature, allowing the bulb to produce up to 30% more light over a same wattage standard incandescent.
