Here's the same pair of B2255s seen in this pic fixed up but they somehow managed to leave the cap sticking out of the B2255 that had the open door in my other pic.
You know I wonder they just had a really long stick (maybe a hot stick) and just pushed the door closed from the gorund, that would explain the capacitor sticking out, still no excuse though
"why get in the bucket when I can close the light up from down here, (closes door with hot stick) oh wait something sticking out but maybe the owner won't notice"
Come to think of it the light with the hanging cap must have a replacement ballast, I don't think Powerlite ever used dry plastic capacitors in their fixtures.
I've gotten a shot of the fixture tag and it's a 400w HPS light from '78, also the dangling cap has been stuffed back in.

Hmm, I guess a closeup shot of the fixture tag on the bottom will solve this mystery if the text hadn't faded away yet, like what happened to this McGraw.This B2227 on the other hand had a legible tag.
