Well I am getting rid of this OVX. Parents didn't want me to keep lights I got from the side of the road. They have a point they don't want me to get in trouble.
I dunno how to return it in the first place, I found this on the side of the road, like you probably all know but how do I return it? I dunno, I want to keep this light because it's unique, but my parents aren't gonna let me keep it, especially that Tapered Elliptical arm.
I don't see what is possibly unique about this light... As for getting rid of it, maybe you could give it to someone since returning it wouldn't accomplish much, unless the pole is still there.
The tapered elliptical arm that it was on is gone now, they finished with the utility pole part of the construction.
This and the M-250 R2 were found in similar places. Actually right next to each other, just found on different days.
And this is unique because it has the original OV-15 reflector, without the circles, It doesn't have the modern Cooper reflector, it makes this unique.
I don't want to get rid of this, but my parents just don't want me having this in the house.
The thing is these lights were on the ground, an I was told I could take whatever was on the ground. All the insulators and ect.
No matter what my parents want me to get rid of the lights I found on the side of the road. Not like the police will do some investigation about my lights and try to see where I got them from. Even if I have to go to court for taking a light off the side of the road... (Long story.. I took a light that was laying on the side of the interstate and someone called the cops on me and I got caught, and now I have to go to court for "theft" So.. I am not taking any more light off the side of the road and because of that court thing they think that they will try to investigate about if I had any other lights I tried to take or taken.
So yeah. You guys were right about taking lights off the side of the road, even if it's been laying there for a month already.a
Xmaslightsguy lives in your area right? Maybe see if he wants it, just putting it back at the side of the road wouldn't do much good, it would just end up lying there. And I'm really trying hard not to say "I told you so" about taking lights... I know you mentioned the story before, if you just make a phone call and see if you can take the lights it would make your life much easier, I did that once and got a few lights that were sitting in a yard, speaking of which, I need to make a phone call, about some lights.
Well I still have this and am going to KEEP it. xD
And about the court thing, my dad said some stuff to the DA and she just closed the case and I am all good now. It was much easier and faster then I thought. O.o
