RIDOT used OVFs for new lighting system installations in the mid-2000s. Then they switched to M-400 FCOs. Recently they started using OVFs, but only for spot replacements because they've began using LeoTek LEDs. I hope they're just part of a test site and LEDs aren't the new standard.
LOL that's like the M-250R2s here. I like M-250R2s but there's SO many of them. That's why I'm glad they're using Coopers for 250 and 400W HPS. I don't want them to go all Cooper though.
Yeah the OVFs are becoming as common as gulls here. And to think 4 years ago they were considered rare here. Streetlights in Markham have gotten uber boring ever since the cream cheese waffles moved in lol.
