Westinghouse HMA-60 Clamshell
as far as i know these are pretty rare....located at my school these are indeed functional...there are two in the lot,one is behind me..this one has a clear lamp, the other one appears to have a DX Lamp, the ballasts appear to be mounted on the building and these are switched manually, ocassionally burning for long periods of time because the switch is accidently activated.

Very nice. Cool They wiped out most of the clamshells here starting from the 70's-90's. I unfoutunatly was born after the HPS cobraheads came to Rhode Island. Any missed out clamshells i knew of (all OV10 IB) were removed in 2008-ish. Crying or Very sad

Nice, most of the clamshells here were wiped out during the early 90s but there's still some in parking lots here. Oddly a couple of clams are still in use at the local MTO yard.

we still have lots of parking lots with Fixtures left over from the Mercury Era. Cool

Same here and if you look hard enough you'll still find some mercury era fixtures on the street.

how many HMA-60's have you seen?
joe_347V   [Nov 13, 2011 at 07:15 PM]
Probably only the one in my gallery. Neutral

these here are the only two i've seen...haven't see any OV-35's which are less rare.

prehaps the rain of gull droppings obscured your vision. Razz
