Amber Flame-Shaped Bulbs Also got these for Christmas. The ones on the left are GE 25W ones, and the ones on the right are Westinghouse 40W ones. The GEs have the flame pattern cut into the glass, and the Westinghouse ones are plain. Pretty cool lamps; I've always wanted some of these amber ones. Keywords: Lamps

The one on the right is now sold as faux Westinghouse since the Philips takeover in the 1980's.

That's interesting. I didn't know that Westinghouse is owned by Philips!

the old westinghouse lamp division was bought by philips in 1983. the one above used to be known as abco, or angelo brothers company, until they secured the rights to the westinghouse name in the late 90s.
