Cyan LEDs Lightset A set of Cyan LED lights....this originally started life as a standard incandescent mini lightset in 2002, but got "converted" to LED around 2009 The picture doesn't really do justice as to truly how awesome the 'Cyan' LED color is! ------- There is one, and only one, of these sets in existence ... and sadly I doubt there'll be more since I can't find Cyan-colored LEDs anymore (If I'd known I woulda gotten more back when they were still made) Keywords: Miscellaneous

So much better than the typical bright blue LEDs! More like blue incandescents. I see you left a few of the incandescent bulbs in.

SiC LEDs have this cyan color. Are the dies really SiC?

@dor123: That’s what I’m wondering too. I wish they still made those SiC blue LEDs, they have such a great color compared to the eye-burning InGaN ones.

SiC LEDs are also very dim compared to InGaN LEDs.

@dor123: That’s not a problem for indicator lights, night lights, light sets like this, etc. that doesn’t require a lot of light output!
