It's a bit dusty, but it is in good condition. I mean it works just fine. I think it was missing the ignitor which is why it wasn't working. Since I have extra ignitors I made it work, and it lights up and works just fine. That's a good thing though. xD
Hmm I wonder how it lost the igniter. Maybe it came loose and when the lineman opened it, it fell out? I've never seen one of those new GE igniters up-close but they loose a little flimsey.
I don't think so. It's possible the lineman took it out, but the light works fine, and since it was getting replaced something had to be wrong with it. Might have been the lamp, but I actually think that might not be the case, the lineman might of been going to each streetlight that was out and replacing lamps, and when he would of replaced this lamp it didn't re-light, and it might of not had the igitor, I dunno.
But nonetheless, I got a free light! That's the nice thing. A free light that works fine.
Ah yeah spare sparts are always good to have around, though I'll admit, I don't have many lol. I only have one HPS cobrahead (50W Cooper OVC) though (and two fixture-less HPS ballasts, 250W Model 13 ballast and 400W Westinghouse L-250 ballast) and I'll be getting a second HPS cobrahead (150W OV-15TD TuDor FCO) so I guess having some spare parts for them would be a good idea. I have an extra advance igniter for 200-400W HPS.
