Bottom view of Grid-thingy.
Here is the bottom, it seems the Longer ones have a bigger space in between while the shorter ones have a smaller space.

What is the point of this grid thingy anyway? Wouldn't the light look fine with no grid? xD

That grid design is used to shine light at the floor only. It prevents to spread the light around the walls. Why they make this, I dunno Question

I heard it was mainly designed to minimize glare on the older computer screens. The computer lab at my old school had parabolic troffers. The way it was wired was that one switch controlled the middle lamp ijn every troffer and the other switch conrolled the two outside lamps in each troffer.

The office at my old school uses them but the computer labs are all lensed troffers.

My middle school uses continueous 2 lamp F32T8 strips in the puter lab. The strips were likely F40T12 RS origionally since the wraps look very old.
