I saw this today! Its the worst iv'e seen for poles so far. There were OV-15's OVX's and OVZ's and 1 AE 115 affected

These poles had it coming to them. They were very old!

ouch! man i wonder how much the lines sparked when they came down or if the power was already out before it broke. any poles that had transformers on them probably went down like this. and yet the signals stay lit like nothing happened lol.

I could imagine there have been a blue or orange flash at some point

Here's a vid I found. The blue flashes in the sky are either transformers blowing up or the primaries shorting.

Yeah I saw that video, The transformers that blew up were orange looking. I guess that explains what the blue was then!

It would've been something to see these come down, too bad it was in the middle of the day so there wouldn't have been a big flash in the sky. These lines are all still down though they have started to clean up the mess today. Power is still out in a few of the older neighbourhoods with overhead lines and lots of trees. Other than that power is pretty much back up in Brampton, the damage to trees meanwhile is going to take a LOT longer to cleanup. Speaking of videos, this is pretty impressive!
