It's not as huge as you would think, it is around the same size as the OV-15.

Yeah, if you go here you can see that the B2217 is roughly the same size as the nearby OV 15s.

The OV15 is pretty large too. Do you know how long the OV15 is?

It's as long as the OVF. The OVF/Y/G is a puny 30" long.

And a Powerlite B2213 is 4' long, the first gen Powerlites were pretty long fixtures.

Yeah seeing them in person was even more impressive, I know of a few locally, none in service. These two I watch very closely! If they ever come down (they have to eventually right?) I plan to get them, or maybe even offer to take the lights down once I am older, I could rent a bucket truck and rescue them! Among many other lights.

yeah you can replace them with a couple of durastars or yardblasters.

Ah, so that's the kind of flood this pole would have had. There's around 16 of these still in use at a couple plazas here too.

Ask the museum curator "Do you want me to dispose of that dirty old light"? And dispose it to your home.

I think he'll need a truck to dispose of everything.
