I found about 16 of these tiny little mercury floods at an old grain terminal, I have no idea who made these but they look almost like a small version of the Wide-Lite F-series floods.
My insulators I own (that are about that big) held power lines that were 45 KV. Just that small section of the 45 KV lines were taken down and most of the string is still up. (The 45 KV power lines are in walking distance from my house)
I guess these might be in that range. Not sure. Probably less or more though.
And were there insulators on the side of the building?
Nope, these later connect to regular distribution lines with 14 kV sized insulators, it is likely they use to be higher though. And yes there where insulators on the building, you'd be pretty hard pressed to get away without insulators.
I do notice on the street view that the first pole the big insulators don't have wires on them. But the ones under it go on the top ones. So I guess those are older power lines that were changed out. and voltage lowered.
