I'm missing here an inductor limiting di/dt for the SIDAC (and current for the capacitor), so i guess the lifetime (measured as the overall time of unsuccessful igntion) would not be as excellent...

Yeah, I prefer those ignitors that are in plastic cases. They look better and can't be damaged as eaisily.

I got TONS Of these ignitors. Heh. How many... *counts* Seven of these 100v HPS ignitors, 4 of them are in use in fixtures, and three of them are spare, and two of thsoe three have busted plastic but still work.

You should see if you can fix up the ones with the busted plastic.

One of the ignitors has pieces of the plastic broken off, Two pieces and those pieces are gone now. Funny thing that ignitor came with my M-400 A2 from Ebay. The ignitor must of got busted in shipping cause the pieces were found IN the fixture. The others were found on the ground.

I only have one 55v HPS GE ignitor that works that was on that busted GE M-250 R2.
