Incandescent, incandescent, incandescent, nothing else in sight!
|
In a wealthy neighborhood in Los Angeles near Encino/Sherman Oaks in the hillsides. So nice to find this little escape spot from the computer chips that light much of LA LA land now. All the fixtures are gumballs/teardrops, on a 6.6A series circuit.

Dave, if you ever get to SLO county, go up Highway 1 and look at Harmony, CA, population 18, and the old GE teardrops on vintage wrought-iron-type arms on some buildings. They used to be MV apparently when they were at Fort San Luis, (I assume remote "paint-can" ballasts) but are now incandescent with standard household bulbs (Or maybe now they have a corkscrew infestation for all I know).
