Mesquite,Texas has LPS....LPS Must be Very Rare in the US now.

LPS is obsolete where I live, most of them were either replaced with mercury vapor or high pressure sodium lights and there were never any on the roads either since utility companies didn't like LPS.

Arizona still has TONS of LPS. TONS! Like everywhere. In Flagstaff, they are all over the roads.

@LilCinnamon: The reason why they have LPS streetlight there is because of telescope near the city.

In this case, there is an observatory near San Diego called the Palomar Observatory. LPS is still required within 30 miles of the observatory.

It looks like American Electric Version of the UK's GEC Z9545,55,65 Series the Z9545 uses a 90w SOX Low Pressure Sodium Lamp, the Z9555 uses a 135w SOX Low Pressure Sodium Lamp and the Z9565 uses a 18w SOX Low Pressure Sodium Lamp. I have the Z9545 see HERE

I meant LPS. Embarrassed Razz Maybe i do need more sleep. Makeing apple sauce was a nightmare for me. Confused Laughing It was very tastey when it was done though. Very Happy
