Close-Up of the Browned Out Lens
Yep, they don't brown out much worse than this one! This is a 1960s Formed Plastics polycarbonate lens. As you can see, the thing was broken in pieces, but I was able to superglue it back together because I had all the parts.

The browned lens makes a cool effect, especially with a clear lamp. With a clear lamp the light is VERY GREEN! With a /DX lamp it's more like a /N lamp with a nice warm yellowish color.

Mike, didn't you have a browned out refractor for me? Wink

I do. I was saving it for when you come up here. Razz Cool

I figured Laughing
A browned out refractor would probably look good on my M250R1. Or maybe one of the Unistyles. Speaking of the Unistyles, I still need a few refractor gaskets for the ones that are missing them. I'll have to give Graybar a call.

Yeah better get them before GE stops producing replacement parts! Shocked
