Christmas Present From Jace the Gull. Don sent this ballast to me and he did that drawing of the gull. Two of my ED-28 MHs won't stay on and cycles before reaching halfway up the warm up period. One of them needs a BBQ ignitor to kick start it. The MV I found at Home Depot last month. Yeah I am surprised to find a 400w MV on their shelves. Last one too. Works great on this ballast. Awesome! I have the same Phillips lamp, no mercury ballasts, only MH ....also its possible that since the OCV is too low on the MV ballast the MH lamps wont stay lit

It's an MH AND MV ballast. It probably has the higher OCV.

Nice, I know Lowe's here still has the 400w merc along with some RONA stores, both sell Sylvania though.

We can do some tests at my house on your lamps, Felipe....you know I got cool stuff and tools heh!

Hm. Here Lowe's sells up to 400w MH and HPS (which i dn't get since they don't sells fixtures or ballasts of that wattage), but they only sell up to 175w MV. HD is the same way except they sell up to 250w MV. Lowe's here carrys Sylvania while HD carrys Phillips. Nice stuff here! Smile
