My street uses these but with the 8' arm instead of the short one.

Yep my street has this exact same light set up too. I'd say about 35% of the OV-15's in these subdivisions have been replaced with any newer small drop lens cobrahead.

I see some even get replaced by R47's very rarely

an AEL 115 replaced one of these 1982 ov-15's near me a year ago. It cycled immediately, then it was fixed somehow, then seemed fine, but driving by today I noticed they replaced the new 115 with another new one! 70W.

Yeah it was a typo Laughing I meant an AE 115
