UPDATE: Most of the double Davit's got LED'd. The single davit cobras on the right are all still existing.

I suppose they're spot replacing failed fixtures with LED now...I have a feeling at this point if you call in someone to change a HID fixture/ballast and even a lamp they'll upsell a LED fixture swap instead.

Yeah its also becoming harder to get HID lighting in general it seems for commercial use. LED's have come down so much in price and with incentive programs even the lowballers will go for LED.

Most stretches are LED here now. Local utilities still spot replace with HPS, used fixtures now as they have a weathered finish - no longer the shiny bare canadian finish (AEL 125s, OVF) Sad . Then a few weeks later the LED program contractor changes these to LED Confused

I think the City of Toronto still relamps HPS and MH fixtures and I think they still install new HPS fixtures. I think they stopped spot replacing MH cobraheads though and have been spot replacing failed MH cobraheads with HPS. The gumballs still appear to be spot replacd with MH though.
