Hmm interesting. I wonder if maybe it was left up there on purpose? maybe to be found a couple decades down the road?
A_lights   [Feb 16, 2014 at 11:10 PM]
Somebody probably didn't want to recycle it
streetlight98   [Feb 16, 2014 at 11:29 PM]
Yeah that makes a lot of sense lol. Did you leave it there?
A_lights   [Feb 16, 2014 at 11:31 PM]
Yeah I left it there, although may have been kinda cool to put it up on a wall and light it with one of my NST's
streetlight98   [Feb 16, 2014 at 11:36 PM]
If you did grab it though, would your boss have let you keep it?
A_lights   [Feb 16, 2014 at 11:59 PM]
Yeah probably, he's pretty cool about stuff, unless I want a whole bunch of ballasts since we get scrap value for them, its nice cause I can put my spent lamps in the bin

It's probably the same reason why I sometimes see HID and fluorescent fixtures abandoned in place instead of being removed.

@Aaron, your boss sounds like a pretty nice guy, cool that he lets you keep some of the ballasts you remove and let you put spent lamps in the bin.
