Ah I see what you mean. I suppose so. I wouldn't be surprised if they're simply headquartered in the USA with their main manufacturing facilities in China. There's a company called Lights of America that makes all their lights in China. They had some really interesting fixture designs but always ade them out of plastic and used electronic ballasts for almost everything, and said ballasts never lasted long outside in the elements. These things have to be protected from humidity somehow. Either a sealed and tar-potted ballast or a sealed watertight fixture. Both is a good option for redundancy.
Pity that a decent looking fixture is actually of a low quality.
