Used a 50mm lens for a Pentax SLR camera in front of the digicam from Panasonic which has 18X optical zoom. It's my mom's camera and has 12MP. Cropped a 640x480 pic out of the 4000x3000 shot.
Yes....mostly its the regular TVs that have the 3 aligned colored regtangles (or capsule shaped) But for the VGA CRT style computer monitors that has much sharper image...usually uses the above setup.....
I wonder, how they made that many small holes so accurately. Even a small error would lead to the electron beams hitting the wrong phosphor.
I like CRT monitors. They have better contrast, more saturated colors, that don't shift as you move from side to side, and are capable of good resolutions. My 11 year old 17" CRT still has better resolution (in pixels/length unit) than what I replaced it with (because it was taking up too much space on my small desk).
Pixels of CRT TVs looks significantly differenty than that of CRT computer monitors, because CRT TVs have much less resolution than of VGA CRT computer monitors.
