nice! i've always preferred the worded ped signals over the man/hand symbols.

Nice! Too bad Toronto phased them out in the mid 70s. In fact, I'm not even sure if there's still a single DONT WALK/WALK ped signal left in use in Ontario. Sad

Anyway here's a Streetview of the intersection. Bonus pic from 1939 with a 8-8-8 with tunnel visors (scroll down).

Yeah, I think the only thing left is the rusty silver pole that used to hold the signals and the gumball. Razz

yeah and the trolly trcks seem to be kept the same too.

Yeah, although it looks like they replaced the bricks around the tracks with concrete.
