It is my understanding that matte finish outside coated bulbs were made at first half of the 20th century Confused

Does this one has etch at the top of the bulb when lit? Confused

hmm i didn't think to check the lamp for an etch when i lit it... I'll have to try that tomorrow.

Looks like a 7.5w indicator bulb; where'd this come from?

yep, i checked the etch and it's 7.5W, 115V. It says GE in a squarish font sorta like a digital clock. the logo is not present.
