60s-70s I think judging by the etch. I have one and it worked when I got it but I used it up and it burned out... Crying or Very sad

thanks! yeah it's my first incandescent bug light. i have a 14W Sylvania A19 CFL buglite but it's really just a drab yellow lol. you can tell there's a cool white CFL behind the yellow casing lol. BTW, aren't A21 lamps the 150 and up lamp size and the three way size? i didn't know the 100W lamps came in that size.

They used to back in the day. We used the next generation of the lamp above (with the little bug mascot) in the bathroom at a dance party and man it was INTENSE in there! Shocked
Does the CFL one start off dim and mercury starved?

yeah it starts off dim and warms up. i think it's pinkish at first too but its been a couple years since i've lit it.
