Yep. 1000 lumens was the standard for residential street lighting (people think 4000 lumens is dim! lol) The funny thing is that a 75W incandescent gets over 1000 lumens, but this lamp above is rated for around 12000 hours I think, so it's horribly inefficient.
That's why it's 103W, yep. The odd wattage is to maintain the 1000 lumens. They made different live span bulbs for the same lumen output, but the wattages would be different depending on the rated life.
That's an even longer rating than those signal incandescents which are rated for 8000 hours. Those are also rated by lumens but you can't use them in a streetlight, IIRC most will crack if you run them base up for too long.
Looks like it's a medium base lamp too, I guess this is what my Powerlite mini gumball was originally designed for.
