Found on the wall of an old farm. These remind me of Bakelite light switches my grandparents used to have in their cottage 30+ years ago. Note that this kind wasn't normally used at that time, it was probably something from early post-WW2 era.
Rotating 180 degs. in either direction toggles on/off.
